Women and dogs. Now there's a risky title for a picture library's weekly feature. But, as you will see, this week's pictures are not going to provide much excitement for jaded zoophiles. The site has already featured men and dogs and it seemed a shame to leave the fairer sex out of it. Also, to be honest, the computer blew up this week and it has to be a quick and easy set this time. Dogs are always a great subject and it's obvious that they are not just man's best friends, though women do tend to relate to them in a very different way. For a man, the dog is a happy carefree extension of himself - what, given half a chance, he would really like to be. For most women, however, dogs are the children they can enjoy without any of the pain and tribulation of actually having to give birth to them. So thus do dogs, maybe not such dumb creatures, get the best of both worlds.
